The VNC Campaign is a project of the For more than two decades WLUML has linked individual women and organizations. It now extends to more than 70 countries ranging from South Africa to Uzbekistan, Senegal to Indonesia and Brazil to France. The theme of violence against women cuts across all of the critical issues examined by WLUML, and informs the network’s focus, collective projects, and strategic directions. With its experience of documenting trends and linking the themes of militarization, fundamentalisms, sexuality, and legal rights with forms of violence against women, Women Living Under Muslim Laws is pleased to coordinate the Violence is Not our Culture Campaign.
